Five Question Friday- 3/19/10

Well, it's all ready Friday.. barely! Here I am at 12:30 am, wide awake and blogging. My little man goes to bed pretty late (he just fell asleep half an hour ago.. yawn!), so I don't get "me time" until after midnight. I don't mind. I got the dishes and laundry done, the mail sorted and now I'm able to sit down and just decompress. Aaaaahh!

I thought I'd go ahead and get started on Mama M's Five Question Friday. I just can't miss out on it! I love Mama's blog and encourage you to stop by for a visit. Now, onto the questions!

My Little Life

1. Have you ever had a celeb sighting?

I've met/seen professional athletes before. Jim Thome (Cleveland Indians), Brad Doherty (Cleveland Cavaliers) and Larry Nance (Cleveland Cavaliers). Thome used to frequent this little dive breakfast diner that my friends and I would hang out at in High School. It was called Doug's Dinner Bucket. Doug was dead, they weren't open for dinner and nothing was served in a bucket. That place was awesome! Doherty lived in my little bubble of a community while I was growing up and I'd often see him at the grocery store. And Mr. Nance was a frequent patron of a restaurant that I served at for a short time. I've never met Brad Pitt or Johnny Depp or anyone super famous like that.... I wish! *swoon* Actually, who am I kidding? I'd love to meet Kenny Chesney or Jimmy Buffett! I wouldn't just swoon, I'd probably die. Seriously.

2. What temperature do you keep your house?

We actually keep it pretty cool. Before Aidan was born it'd be around 67, but now it's either 69 or 70. I get hot easily, so I don't like the house too warm! And Jason doesn't like to pay the bill!

3. Do you notice dust at other peoples homes?

Honestly? No. I don't really look for it. I'm no clean home Nazi when it comes to others. It's funny though, because I am super anal about my house being clean when we have people over. But it doesn't bother me if others don't have a clean home. I'm not gonna come over and give 'em the "white glove test" or anything!

4. What's the worst job you ever had?

The worst job I ever had? Remember that serving job I mentioned in question number 1? That'd be it! Awful! I didn't mind serving, but I absolutely hated my coworkers. The owner was a jerk and the other servers were very bitter people. I took food to the wrong table one time and the owner said (and I quote) "I should take you out back and shoot you." I quit that night. Now, he may have been joking... but it wasn't funny. It's never funny to tell somebody you want to shoot them. He said it in front of other servers and even they were stunned. Yea. Not a good job.

5. What is your most sentimental possession?

I really don't know. If my house were on fire I'd grab my man, my baby and my animals. If I had time I'd grab our pictures. I do have a Hummel figurine that my mother gave to me for Christmas one year. It's a figure of a little girl climbing an apple tree. She cried when she explained why she gave it to me... I was always the little tomboy getting stuck in trees! That would probably be my most sentimental possession since it meant so much to my mom and she bought it specifically for me.

I think I'm going to try and get some shuteye before my little guy wakes up for his 4 am feeding. Woohoo!
