My resignation was received on Friday afternoon at the clinic that I worked at. It was a hard decision to make, but one that I am confident in. It's the right decision. For Aidan, for me, for our whole family.
This is a job that many women wish they were able to have. But, unfortunately, most cannot due to financial reasons. We are lucky that I do not *have* to work. I feel very blessed that I will be able to take advantage of our good fortune and stay home with Aidan.
I will be able to witness all of his firsts, and not have to hear it from a babysitter or a daycare provider. First laugh, first smile, first major temper tantrum, you get the idea... :)

Wish me luck on my new job! I'm excited to report for duty first thing Monday morning. I look forward to each and everyday and the memories Aidan and I will make together.
Also, on a different note, this is my 100th post! I can't believe that I have actually written 100 posts. I guess I had more to say that I thought. Stay tuned for another 100.
I'm off to watch the Oscars. I love them!
Congrats on your "new" position. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do...
