For the past 5 days we have had the pleasure of Jason's parents company. Their visit was packed chock full of fun times! We definitely kept busy while they were here and made lots of memories that we'll cherish forever.

Aidan had a great time playing with Nana and Papa! He showed them what a little monkey he was and how he gets around by pulling himself all over the place!

On Friday, which was also Papa's birthday, we all went to the Houston Zoo. Aidan loved seeing all of the animals! Afterward we had lunch at one of Papa's favorite restaurants in downtown, The Flying Saucer. Later on that evening we smoked out ribs, I made my famous beer cheese soup served up in sourdough bread bowls and we topped if all off with ice cream cake from Baskin Robbins. Yum!

Sunday started off with a little relaxation. Later on in the afternoon we decided to check out the Houston Arboretum and Nature Center, which is close to downtown. They had beautiful hiking trails and scenery. There was also a cute little play area with ropes, tunnels and sand for the kiddos. This is a place I will be taking Aidan to again!

This morning Jason had to head back to work, so Aidan and I were on airport drop-off duty. We were sad to see Nana and Papa leave, but are happy that we will see them in 2 1/2 months for a LONG visit over the holidays!
We love you Nana and Papa! :)
