This week I have felt extremely tired. Just exhausted. I'm sure it's a combination of "I'm pregnant and I run around after a crazy toddler all day."
Aidan and I have been fairly busy (trip to the zoo Monday, baby matinee Tuesday, swim playdate Wednesday) and so today we are just hanging out at home (aside from our morning storytime session, that is- where, by the way, the librarian asked me what I fed him for breakfast this morning since he was so hyper!). I needed it.
And I think he did, too.
I love being busy. I love that Aidan is excited to check out new places, learn new things and has adapted very well to our "up and at 'em" schedule.
But sometimes it's just nice to be at home. To read books. Play in his ball pit. Run around the backyard. Look out the window. Chase the dogs around the coffee table. You know, all of the normal stuff.
I have a feeling that once baby number two comes we will be spending more time than usual at home. And I'm okay with that. And I think he will be, too.
He's taking a nap right now, and as I glance over at our bed, I'm tempted to as well. My kitty is all ready snuggled up on top of our comforter and I know he's waiting for me to come over and lie down next to him.
But, I should probably take a shower. Afterall, it's 4:30 pm.
Oh this wonderful, crazy life of a Mama. :)
I love it.
