What's with blogger today? It "hid" some of my more recent posts and is being all kindsa funky!
Anyway, I'm happy to report that our "dry spell" officially ended last night! Hurrah! It rained for about 2 hours, which wasn't nearly enough, but I'm sure it made our dying grass very happy!
Aidan is napping and I'm trying to get my lists in order for everything that we need to take to the beach tomorrow. We're planning a day of fun, sun and cool, Gulf breezes with Aidan's little girlfriend and her family. I'm sure we'll have a blast! But, I am kinda tired and in the mood for procrastinating... so I thought I'd play along with Mama M and take a break from my list making.
1) Tube socks, calf socks, crew, ankle or none?
No socks for me! I can pretty much wear my sandals year-round here in Houston. If I HAVE to wear socks, they are ankle socks. But, I'd much rather not. I love getting a sandal tan! Mine is looking pretty spiffy all ready. :)
2) Was your child's name a mutual decision or was it a debate?
Mutual. Aidan was a favorite name of mine since I was little. I even named my pet rabbit Aidan. Jason also likes the name, so it was easy. Now, baby number two is a different story. We don't really even have names picked out yet. Well kinda. But not really. I guess we should probably get moving on that, eh?
3) What is your favorite type of weather?
I have two. One is high 70s with no humidity and lots of sunshine! Perfect for spending a day outside without feeling like you may melt at any second, Wicked Witch style.
The second is cool, Autumn weather. In the high 50s. I love a cloudless night, stars twinkling, huddled around a campfire with good friends and being able to comfortably wear jeans, a sweatshirt and sandals. Perfection! Oh, and there would be s'mores. There must ALWAYS be s'mores when there is a campfire. Period.
4) If left to your own devices, what time would you wake up everyday?
Probably around 8- 8:30. I'm not big on sleeping in anymore. I feel like I could be getting stuff done instead. That's what time I usually wake up anyway, since it's when the little guy decides he's had enough sleep and wants to start his day. Although, my sleep is usually interrupted by Jason waking up around 7:00. After that it's pretty hard for me to really fall back asleep. Boo!
5) Have you bought your cemetery plots yet?
Nope. We just did the whole "will thing" though. Not fun. Not fun at all. But, atleast it's taken care of! One step at a time!
Well, I guess it's back to my lists.....
Enjoy your weekend!
