Well, we had our big ultrasound yesterday. You know, the one where you find out the sex of the baby. I'm a little farther along than usual for this ultrasound (23 weeks) and we were pretty certain that whether we wanted to or not (which we were choosing NOT), we would most likely find out the sex of Baby Number Two.
So, the results are in and it's a.....
We're so proud. :)
Sorry, I had to be mean like that. Luckily we did not find out the sex of our little one and it will still be a surprise when I go into labor and deliver our baby in early September. Baby is weighing in at a healthy one pound and one ounce and is about twelve inches long. Everything looked good on the ultrasound, too!
I'm still feeling great and haven't gained more than one pound so far. Amazing? I think so!
This heat is starting to wear on me a bit and picking up Aidan is becoming more difficult. It's hard for me to hold him for more than 5 minutes at a time, which he really hates. Especially when he is in one of his "Ineedmymamarightnow!" moods.
Baby can hear outside of the womb now. So, I'm sure it's enjoying hearing the sounds of our dogs barking at nothing, Aidan babbling in his little language and me rockin' out to Van Morrison while I cook dinner in the evenings.
It's exciting to think that we're all ready more than halfway there!
Is This Thing On?
