You may have noticed a little change up at the top of the page here. I've finally bought a blog domain! Huzzah! You can now find me at http://www.texaslifeblog.com :)
I love decorating my mantel. It's a great way to make your house look festive for any season! Usually I only decorate the mantel for Fall and skip Halloween and Thanksgiving. It's easier and the look works from September through the end of November.
But this year I decided to switch it up a bit. I've seen so many printables floating around the Internet and decided to use them to dress things up for free. :)
I found the "thankful" banner at Over the Big Moon. I printed it out on cardstock, strung it up on some twine I bought at the grocery store (in the meat department) and voila! I love that it looks like burlap, but isn't. :)
This festive printable was found at How to Nest for Less. I really love the colors, fonts and words used to express the Thanksgiving holiday.
Assorted pumpkins and other items from my Fall mantel help fill in the rest of the mantel. And my DIY wreath tops it off.
Do you decorate for Thanksgiving? Have you found any fun printables lately?
